The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) have announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) conducted on March 23, 2025, across 38 testing centers nationwide. A total of 16,282 out of 34,810 examinees (46.77%) passed the elementary level, while 38,747 out of 62,225 examinees (62.27%) passed the secondary level.
Among the successful elementary level examinees, 13,819 were first-time takers, and 2,463 were repeaters. For the secondary level, 32,624 passers were first-time examinees, and 6,123 were repeaters.
The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman, Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairman, and Dr. Paraluman R. Giron as Member.
The PRC also announced that the results of 57 examinees have been withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The PRC has scheduled the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards (IDs) and Certificates of Registration for successful examinees. Registrants are required to bring the Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only), a duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, two passport-sized colored pictures with white background and complete name tag, two sets of documentary stamps, and one short brown envelope. Successful examinees must personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees will be announced later. These ceremonies are significant milestones for new educators as they formally pledge to uphold the standards and ethics of the teaching profession.
